Company Overview
Pathway Polymers, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a subsidiary of Dash Multi-Corp. Dash is a leading manufacturer of formulated polyurethane systems, vinyl plastisols, and recycled rubber products with over 40 years of experience providing high quality products and technical application expertise to deliver value-added solutions to the global markets they serve. In May 2013, Pathway Polymers joined forces with Dash, backed by Arsenal Capital partners, to create the tire filling industry’s leading “One Stop Shop” for providing tire flatproofing materials and equipment.
In 1971, Pathway Polymers invented TyrFil, the world’s first polyurethane tire fill material intended to flatproof tires. Since then, TyrFil has eliminated downtime due to flat tires and increased productivity for the construction industry forever. Information included in the white paper, Tire Fill Provides the Most Reliable, Safe and Cost-Effective Flatproofing Solution, explains the value and safety of using this polyurethane tire fill. Since the beginning, Pathway Polymers has remained a global technology leader in flatproof tires and provided products to the construction, mining and OTR markets worldwide.
Motivated by a strong commitment to our TyrFil dealers and to the environment, we developed a method to recycle post-consumer tire fill. Our exclusive patented AutoFil Recycler System for the aftermarket and the OE AutoFil Recycler System designed for original equipment manufacturers keep millions of pounds of post-consumer tire fill and recycled pneumatic tires out of landfills each year. Pathway Polymers' most recent white paper, Sustainability in the Tire Industry: Sustainable Development Through Tire Flatproofing Technology, contains detailed information about the company's recycling efforts and progress. Pathway Polymers has been issued a certificate of registration by Perry Johnson Registrars, Inc. for conformance to the ISO 9001:2008 international standard.
